I’m sure we’ve all seen those guns used at sporting events that shoot out t-shirts at the crowd. The guns usually are only for endorsers of sports gear like authentic NBA jerseys and the like but Nike has given the general public access to them! The fun that can be had is portrayed in the promotional video featuring Steven Jackson of the St. Louis Rams with the Nike Sports Research lab as the setting when two kids armed with the guns burst in and start shooting t-shirts at one another, Jackson gets hold of one of them and when the chaos ends, unrolls it asking “Does this come in double XL?”. The ad ends with Steven puffing his chest and getting ready to be shot with his requested double XL Nike tee. It obviously doesn’t function the way the ad shows but still would be a change from water guns.

According to the Nike website:

“Better than you’ll find in any stadium or arena, the Nike T-shirt gun is the best in fan gear for your favorite sporting event.”

Each of these cotton fabric launchers are numbered and engraved with the signature of a Nike athlete and are proving to be a fast seller giving authentic NBA jerseys competition. Its classy look definitely would make a good practical joke and if you can afford the $ 1,500 tag, you could be a spectacle in the next NBA celebrity all star game.
